Fantasy January

I'm planning on selling a calendar when I have enough pictures of the right dimention

This is for January, if your of the south hemisphere like myself that makes it summer. It wont be a seasonally themed calendar but was thinking about how tradition european based fantasy don't feature tropical beaches to much and I thought it would be interesting and challenging.

I'm not much for backgrounds normally but I want to improve. I did a bit of photo researching for this one.

To be perfectly honest I'm still not happy with the colouring of this piece but I couldn't get it right and I got tired of working on it. I was trying a new type of colouring but it's not for me.
